Is (make that should) being a parent an inalienable right?

File this under my Pinterest How I Get in Trouble board . . .

The following video excerpt highlights one of those lines from a movie that cuts close to life . . . and after reflecting on the father who embarrassed his son by making him wear a billboard with his low grades on it, the father who shot the daughter’s notebook because of comments she made on a social network and, a story from last year in which a mother made her son kill his pet hamster with a hammer because he failed a subject at school begs the question . . . should it be an inalienable right for someone to be a parent?
